Rick Grech

Rick Grech Rick Grech, bass player and violinist of Family, Blind Faith, Airforce, Traffic, Gram Parsons, The Crickets and Eric Clapton fame. Rick played sessions for Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Eddie Harris, Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood and Ronnie Lane amongst many others. A gifted versatile songwriter he also composed songs performed by Family, Airforce, Traffic, Gram Parsons, Emmylou Harris, The Crickets, Cowboy Junkies, Ryan Adams, Harold McNair and Rosetta Hightower.

Rock And Roll Stew Music is delighted to represent Rick Grech's classic song catalogue direct for the USA.

Ginger Baker

Ginger Baker Ginger Baker, the supremely talented drummer of Cream, Blind Faith, Airforce, Baker Gurvitz Army and BBM. Although famed for his flamboyant rock playing Ginger was influenced by UK jazz drummer Phil Seaman and African drumming. He has also recorded a number of fine jazz albums of his own.

2012 sees the release of Jay Bulger's documentary "Beware Of Mr Baker" which has already won the Grand Jury award at the SXSW Film Festival 2012.

Ginger Baker's Jazz Confusion are currently touring following a series of acclaimed shows in Europe, Japan and the USA. Ginger Baker's Jazz Confusion "Why?" a brand new album is available now.

Josh Phillips & Dan McGrath Josh Phillips & Dan McGrath are possibly the most talented TV theme writers today. Bryan Daly

Bryan Daly Bryan Daly is best known as the composer of the original music for the phenomenally successful children's animation series Postman Pat. Translated into numerous languages and broadcast around the World, both the original Postman Pat TV series and later Postman Pat SDS TV series continue to delight and entertain children not least because of the instantly recognizable Theme tune. What is little known is that Bryan was also one of the most sought after session musician guitar players of the 1960's and 1970's, a first call studio musician for the likes of Burt Bacharach and his performances grace numerous classic hit recordings that have remained radio staples to this day.

Postman Pat The Movie is on general cinema release from 23rd May 2014 and features Bryan Daly's wonderful iconic Postman Pat theme tune.

Chris Wood

Chris Wood Chris Wood embodied the spirit and the soul of Traffic primarily providing the signature ethereal flute and characterful jazz saxophone that made their music magical and unique. A great songwriter his credits include classic songs such as Dear Mr Fantasy, Coloured Rain, Who Knows What Tomorrow May Bring?, Heaven Is In Your Mind, Smiling Phases and Shanghai Noodle Factory. A superb musician, he played on every Traffic album between 1967 and 1974 and his playing and performances also grace recordings by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Ginger Baker's Airforce, John Martyn, Free, Jim Capaldi and Third World to name a few.

Marek Rymaszewski

Marek BlackMarek Rymaszewski draws from a deep well of emotional torment and dislocated desire on The Despicable Mischief of Marek Rymaszewski. Produced with expert finesse by Robin Millar, featuring twelve visceral new songs and beautiful bespoke artwork by Frieda Hughes the painter daughter of the poets Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath; the album is available from 31st October 2013 on Arts Media ARM 1007 via Townsend Music, Amazon and iTunes.

Marek's song Death Is Not Enough has been recorded by The Pretenders and is available on their 2016 album Alone.

Josh Phillips

Josh Phillips Josh Phillips has a parallel career as a pedigree musician which began when he appeared in the film Quadrophenia aged fifteen and has recorded and performed with the likes of Pete Townshend, Big Country, Arthur Brown, Kenny Jones and Midge Ure. He currently plays keyboards and organ with Procol Harum. Golden Sunset is Josh's beautiful chill out piece and he has recorded Nothing Beats This Feeling with Jim Cregan of Rod Stewart and Steve Harley fame on guitar and Beckie Davies on vocals.

Josh has recently composed music for the award winning documentary Australia With Simon Reeve and new songs for Procol Harum with Gary Brooker.

Dan McGrath

Dan McGrath

Dan McGrath, in a past life, worked as a Radio 1 producer for the Chris Evans Breakfast Show and has written music for The Big Breakfast, Don't Forget Your Toothbrush, TFI Friday, Shooting Stars, Nokia, Truphone and the theme to Friday Night With Jonathan Ross. Dan returned to radio in 2011 when he and Nick Goodman presented Cafe 80's for Absolute Radio.

Brian James

Brian James Brian James is not only a founder member of The Damned but also of the infamous Lords Of The New Church. Composer of the classic songs New Rose and Neat Neat Neat; Brian was the prime musical architect of the original sound of The Damned. New Rose was famously the first Punk single and the albums Damned Damned Damned and Music For Pleasure, which both bear Brian's unique sonic imprint, remain influential modern classics. Influenced himself by the MC5 and The Stooges, Brian would later tour with both the mercurial Wayne Kramer and the irrepressible Iggy Pop and release several solo albums before forming his own band in the shape of The Brian James Gang. Released on Easyaction Records in 2006, The Brian James Gang album is available via iTunes.

April 2012 saw Easyaction Records release a brand new album of acoustic songs called Chateau Brian recorded with Simple Minds and Alarm keyboard player Mark Taylor as Brian James Grand Cru.

October 2013 saw Real Gone Music/Universal Music Special Projects re-issue all three Lords Of The New Church studio albums, The Lords of The New Church, Is Nothing Sacred? and Method To My Madness are available on CD. March 2015 saw the World Premiere at SXSW of Wes Orshoski's documentary The Damned: Don't You Wish That We Were Dead. April 2015 saw Easyaction Records release a brand new electric album The Guitar That Dripped Blood featuring guitarist Cheetah Chrome guesting on Becoming A Nuisance and ten new songs of classic Brian James riffs.

The Only Ones

The Only Ones feature the exemplary musical talents of Peter Perrett, Mike Kellie, Alan Mair and John Perry. The band reformed, touring the UK to public acclaim and were awarded a Mojo award in 2007. Rock And Roll Stew Music worked closely with Neil O'Brien to successfully relaunch the group who appeared at the 2007 O2 Wireless Festival's in London and Leeds, The Connect Festival in Scotland and played an emotional, incandescent, sold out show at London's Shepherds Bush Empire.

Mark BrzezickiMark Brzezicki is one of the finest drummers in the UK. He has played and recorded with Big Country, The Cult, Pete Townshend, Arthur Brown, Procol Harum, Roger Daltry, Fish, Midge Ure, Joan Armatrading and on innumerable other sessions.

Marek BlackMarek Black is a gifted songwriter who along with lyricist Richard Alexander has also written a successful musical based on the Profumo Affair in the form of 'A Model Girl'. Black Is The New Blue, packed with pop hooks and lush harmonies and featuring a stellar cast of session players such as Steve Gadd, Pino Palladino, Simon Phillips and The Kick Horns; is now available for sale via iTunes.

Guy Dagul

Guy DagulGuy Dagul is the highly regarded composer of many TV Themes, Documentaries and Feature Films. A concert pianist and capable soloist and arranger, Guy became chief orchestrator for Trevor Jones and composed music for films such as Mississippi Burning, Sea Of Love, Arachnophobia, The Last Of The Mohicans, Cliffhanger and In The Name Of The Father. More recently he has scored many TV Documentaries such as Challenger, Samurai Sword The Making Of A Legend and The Year the Earth Went Wild. The 2011 BBC2 film drama, a Hardy Pictures production, The Man That Crossed Hitler, has an all star cast including actors Ed Stoppard, Ian Hart and Bill Patterson and features Guy as composer. Channel 4's topical feature on the 2011 riots, London's Burning, also featured Guy's music. Guy composed the score for the feature film, Love Me Till Monday, which featured as part of the London Film Festival 2013 and also The Jesus Mysteries a new National Geographic documentary produced by Juniper TV.

“Legs” Larry Smith“Legs” Larry Smith still performs with the infamous Bonzo Dog Band which he co-founded with Vivian Stanshall in the 1960's at Art College and has toured with Eric Clapton, appeared on albums by George Harrison, Elton John, John Cale and acted in the Handmade Film Bullshot and in the Magical Mystery Tour with The Beatles. He is also a fine graphic artist and produced the cover artwork for George Harrison's Gone Troppo album. “Legs” Larry Smith's digital EP 'Call Me, Adolf!', produced by the late, great Gus Dudgeon, is available for download from iTunes.

Pete Lincoln

Pete LincolnPete Lincoln is a musician of many talents. Primarily a vocalist and guitar player, he is currently the lead vocalist and bass player for glam rock icons The Sweet. Pete has also performed more than 3,500 of his One Man Juke Box shows, has a history of successful composition of TV Music and written songs for the likes of S Club 7.

Pete released his own radio friendly solo single in 2013, All At Sea available via iTunes and also an album of original material Soul Searching in 2014.

Heartbeat Pete's new album produced by studio ace Stuart McCredie will be available to buy from May 2016.

Josh Phillips and Paul Pritchard

Henri le WormJosh Phillips and Paul Pritchard have composed the music for the wonderfully inventive children's cookery app Henri le Worm.
