Ginger  Baker, the supremely talented drummer of Cream, Blind Faith, Airforce, Baker Gurvitz Army and BBM.  Although famed for his flamboyant rock playing Ginger was influenced by UK jazz drummer Phil Seaman and African drumming.  He also recorded a number of fine jazz albums of his own.

2012 saw  the release of Jay Bulger’s documentary “Beware Of Mr Baker” which won the Grand Jury award at the SXSW Film Festival 2012.

Ginger Baker’s Jazz Confusion toured extensively, playing acclaimed shows in Europe, Japan and the USA and released the album Why? in 2014.
